Eva Kroon Pike To Wrap Up Summer with Rock The Universe Performance

Singer/songwriter Eva Kroon Pike will soon wrap up a summer of music with two days of performances September 5 and 6 at Rock the Universe, billed as “Florida’s biggest Christian music festival.” Pike will perform at the event, which is held at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., along with Newsboys,TobyMac, Lecrae, Third Day and others. The Florida-based musician will perform music from her current CD, Love Is All About You.

“What an unexpectedly epic summer it has been! Just when I thought summertime might bring some calmness, we experienced quite the opposite,” Pike says. “From the Battle of the Bands to baseball to experiencing God in unexpected places on the streets of New York City, we’ve had a summertime to remember. Now, I’m looking forward to ending the summer with a bang by performing with a full band at both nights of Rock the Universe, the highlight of my music career to-date!”

Pike earned her Rock the Universe performance slot by placing first at Wet-N-Wild Orlando’s Waves of Glory Battle of the Bands competition held in May, where Tenth Avenue North headlined. Pike competed against 10 other bands to earn the coveted spot at the popular Universal Studios festival.

During the summer, Pike traveled with the Florida Worship Choir & Orchestra to New York City, where the choir, in cooperation with the North American Mission Board, provided ministry and training to area churches, and also performed at Carnegie Hall, in Central Park and at the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Back in the South, Pike also was featured in concert at Faith Radio’s 6th Annual Family Faith Night at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala.

During the Rock the Universe event, Pike will perform on the Fan Zone Stage.
