Anberlin Set To Release Final Record On Long-Time Label Tooth and Nail

The first month of this new year isn’t even over yet, and two big-time Christian rock bands have already announced they’re calling it quits at the end of 2014. First Children 18:3 announced their last album as a band (which will be funded through a Kickstarter campaign and released independently) and now Anberlin has also declared that they’ll be going out with a bang this year.

The alternative rock heavyweights from central Florida started their career on the longtime Christian record label Tooth & Nail Records in 2002. Since then, they have gained quite a name for themselves, touring the world multiple times and releasing six full-length studio albums. Three of those albums were released on major label Universal Republic after the band parted ways with Tooth & Nail in August of 2007. Now that their contract with Universal Republic has expired, it only makes sense that the Florida-based quintet would return to the label that helped them in becoming so well-known in the first place. Tooth & Nail has slated the last Anberlin record to be due out sometime this summer. As soon as they’ve put the final touches on album number seven, the group will be embarking on numerous different national and world tours, with one of those being the ever-so-popular VANS Warped Tour. Anberlin will be making their way around the globe and rocking it out everywhere they can, so make sure you catch them in action one last time before they hang it up for good.

Stay up to date on everything that will be going down this year by following the band on Facebook and Twitter (@anberlin), and expect their seventh and final full-length effort sometime this summer.
