From the EP, No One But You, comes “We Will Rise” and it represents another remarkable story in Natasha’s journey. She crossed paths with legendary producer Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, TobyMac, Laura Story), who heard her story and committed to working with her on her new album. Natasha was a bit intimidated, but grateful for the opportunity. Along the way, a friend messaged her out of the blue with a story of a dream she’d had. She shared the details, and said this message kept repeating over and over: ‘I made it through’ is not the final message. It’s the first stepping stone. The true message is rising above. Natasha was shocked. The friend had no idea that I Made It Through was the name of her first CD, or that she was delivering to Natasha the theme that would guide her new songwriting. Upon hearing the story, Cash quickly stepped to a piano and wrote what remains unaltered today as the chorus to “We Will Rise.”
