Canadian Producer Nitro X Bridges Continents with Debut Latin Single “Tu Es Mi Alegría”

Canadian producer Owen Bloomfield, known under his EDM project Nitro X for uplifting christian pop and EDM, announces the release of his latest single, “Tu Es Mi Alegría,” featuring Kaelyn Reese and Spanish rapper TTIMO. Out now on all platforms as of March 20, the track marks a significant milestone for Nitro X as his first official venture into the Latin music space.

The vision for the track began in late 2024. Inspired by the rhythmic energy of Sam Feldt’s “Mi Amor,” Owen originally produced a Latin-pop beat intended for an English EDM-pop crossover. However, the direction shifted organically when Kaelyn Reese tracked the initial hook and verses using a blend of Spanish and English. The chemistry of the Spanglish vocals made it clear: the song needed an authentic Reggaeton feature.

“As soon as I finished the beat, I knew it needed a Latin element,” says Owen. “It took a full year to find the right feature and finalize it, but TTIMO brought an authenticity and energy that perfectly matched the vision Kaelyn and I had from the start.”

Finding TTIMO required a year of patience. A trilingual rapper and pastor based in Vélez-Málaga, Spain, TTIMO’s global rap influence and European-Latin perspective provided the “missing link” the track needed. By blending Nitro X’s signature pop and EDM production with a gritty, authentic Spanish flow, “Tu Es Mi Alegría” bridges the gap between modern radio pop and the global church. This collaboration—spanning Canada, the United States, and Spain—stands as a vibrant testament to how God is moving across the globe.

“Tu Es Mi Alegría” is the second single from Nitro X in 2026, following the release of the anthemic progressive house track “Forever and Now.”
