Valley One Worship Releases Debut Album “Songs From the Valley”

Valley One Worship, a worship collective launched from Visalia First in California’s Central Valley, will release their debut full-length album “Songs from the Valley” on Friday, August 15, 2025. The project is available on all major streaming platforms.

Founded by Medi Kay, Worship Pastor at Visalia First, Valley One Worship exists to unify the Church across Central California and beyond through songs rooted in testimony, Scripture, and community. Their debut album captures a bold and heartfelt expression of faith, hope, and praise from one of the most fertile but often overlooked regions of California.

Songs from the Valley features seven original tracks, each inspired by the real stories, prayers, and testimonies from the Central Valley. The album blends Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) with gospel, pop, and country influences, reflecting the diversity of the region’s people and churches. With powerful vocals, genre-spanning arrangements, and worshipful lyrics, the album is both a reflection and a declaration: God is moving in the Valley… and the sound is spreading.

The album includes all four previously released singles: “New Life,” “Communion,” “Always,” and “Who Can Be Against.”

Since the release of their first single earlier this year, Valley One Worship has already garnered over 270,000 streams across all platforms, with music now streaming in over 100 countries and being sung in churches across the U.S. and the Philippines. While the collective is new, its members bring years of experience in worship and ministry, having recorded and shared the stage with leaders such as Brandon Lake, Elevation Worship, Maverick City Music, We the Kingdom, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Chandler Moore, among others.

“This album is a collection of stories, confessions, and victories,” the Valley One Worship team shares. “These songs were born in the Valley, but they’re meant for anyone needing hope, breakthrough, or a reminder that God is faithful.”

Visalia First, home to Valley One Worship, is a dynamic, multigenerational church led by Dr. Mark Merrill, who also serves as Director of Catalyst Bible College, another outreach initiative of the church. Valley One Worship was birthed as a ministry of Visalia First to gather churches, write songs for the region, and amplify the sound of what God is doing in the Central Valley.
