Holyname dropped the music video for “Blood”. Blood is one of four songs off of released EP “Three Bar Cross”. Check out the music video below and be sure to get your own copy of the EP. Peyton Parrish dropped his album “Evangelcore” and it did not disappoint! I pre-ordered it on iTunes so I could have it as soon as it dropped. Based on the single “Word of God”, I knew this album would be a much-needed addition in the Christian metalcore scene. This reminds me very much of a Christian version of Disturbed, an opinion that I’ve seen shared by others commenting too. As I stated in the last roundup, I’ve listened to his covers and viral Viking songs for years, so this was a cool switch-up to see. VOTA dropped “Hold for Applause”. On the song they have this to say, “This song is an honest cry to God. I believe God welcomes our honesty. He invites us to come as we are, even when we’re angry, confused, or hurting. In this song, I wrestle with the feeling that God’s silence can seem like violence. Memphis May Fire‘s truck full of their gear got in a wreck. While the driver is thankfully alright, a lot of their gear is not. Read here to find out more and please pray for a safe continuation of their tour and for the ability to replace what they lost.
