Magdalene Rose dropped her new album “The Heart That Bloomed After Death”. Check out her post about the release here. It’s really hard for me to decide on a favorite from this album, but I think it would have to be the title track at the end of the album! It talks about how when everyone else leaves, when we’ve driven others away or others have failed us, there is One who will never leave nor forsake us. Even when we would deserve it. David Pataconi dropped “Psalm 42 (Deep)”. Check that out below. He will also be dropping “Needle” tomorrow, with a music video to accompany it. Check out his post about that here! David is someone who is after the heart of God and loves with his whole being. Please continue to pray over him and his family and show him love!
Bad Plans dropped their new single “Teeth”. Check it out below! I already loved the song in and of itself. The whole song is incredible. I felt it when the lyrics go “My lips can be a curtain for my anguish. A violent end to all discretion. An enemy to my real intentions. Tongue-tied by misery. This mute mouth is killing me.” But hearing what the song is about is the cherry on top. “This song is for the quiet kids, those who are constantly talked over, or anyone who’s ever had a joke stolen from them. It’s more than just the experience of being introverted. It’s the experience of having your voice taken from you.” I’ve felt this way for over half my life. I’ve made strides to change this, but it’s not easy.
From Ravens to Doves dropped “Sleeping Giants”. Check out the single below! I know I’m a bit biased about this one (as they are fellow “Eternal Echoes” fam), but seriously, this is a banger!!! I will always uplift the voices that are music ministry, proclaiming the gospel with good tunes. This single is no exception! I certainly feel ready to take on a giant like David did while listening to this song. “We may be surrounded, but God is on our side!” Let’s goooo!
Disciple shared a cool thing that happened to them. The band ended up on the news in the Netherlands! Check out the video here!
The throwback song of the week is Skillet and Colton Dixon’s rendition of “Nothing But The Blood”. It’s only a few months old, but I think a lot of people might have missed it!
