This week we have two prayer requests. The first one is for James Mead of Kutless. He was in the hospital after suffering a stroke, however he is now at home. Please pray for him, as well as his family. You can check out info on the original post about it here. The second is a prayer request for Dan Blankenship. He was in a car accident a week ago and is now in the ICU. He is said to have had broken bones and a bleeding lesion on the brain, among other injuries. He successfully already completed two surgeries, one to do with the neck and the other, with the brain. Dan is the husband of Cindy, whom many of you may know due to many reasons, but her overall status is “Mothership”, and she does “Backstage with Mothership” on Solid Rock Radio. She’s also on the booking team for Loud and Proud Festival. If you’ve seen Cindy at a concert, there is also a good chance you have seen Dan as well. Dana Andrews released “Deliver Me” which you can check out below! Hearing new tunes, especially from artists I hadn’t known about before, is always a great part of doing these roundups! She’s definitely one you want to keep your eye on for sure. Let’s gooo!
The Christian music festival “Kingdom Bound” just happened last week and two of the bands on the lineup were Disciple and Pillar. Two epic reels were shared as a result which you can check out here and here. Mind blown!! If only I could have been a fly on the wall to hear how the conversation went when it came to asking the bands to do this. It’s so good haha.
