Remedy Drive dropped their latest reimagined version of their single “Brighter Than Apathy” from their upcoming Daylight United Studio Sessions | Volume 1. Check out the live recording of it below! This is more than just a reimagined single however. This is part of a truly amazing initiative. If you are new to Remedy Drive, they are more than just a band. Their focus isn’t just good music and entertainment, but rather combating human trafficking with real world applications. The singer David Zach himself works alongside law enforcement in undercover work. In the goal of combatting traffickers, they just created “Daylight United” as a way to do just that. Divided Me dropped a music video for “Unbound”. The lyrics and video hurt my heart, as it brings about an image of a child being abused by a father or someone they knew. But songs like this are exactly why I’m passionate about the Christian rock scene. We would probably never hear a song like this in CCM, but we have a need for it in the Christian sphere. I also appreciate that they blurred out the child actor’s face in the video. Check it out below! “Break me from this fate I thought was love defined. Can you hear me. My strength is my voice. You cannot touch me. My Offender. Hear me now”. They also dropped their “Tarnished” EP, which includes Unbound. Check out the EP on their Spotify here!
Hopeful released “Everything is Better”. On their Instagram they said “Thinking y’all might be vibing with this one!!” And they also mention summer vibes. I definitely agree with that sentiment. I feel like I should be blasting this in my car on a road trip. Check out the lyric video below!
