Lacey Sturm had a show a little over a week ago in Pittsburgh, PA. That show was part of her most recent tour with Young Other, however this specific show was unique as it was a benefit show for IOCC. They decided to add some special guests to this specific show and those guests included Brian Head Welch, Tommy Green, and Trevor Tyson. During the show there was a special mashup of Korn’s “Blind” with Flyleaf’s “I’m So Sick” that everyone joined in on. They did a live recording of said mashup and just premiered it. Oh, and you may or may not recognize a name in the credits in the description. (yes, a little self-plug!) It was an honor to witness so many amazing musicians on one stage for a single night. It was one for the books!

Living Scars is now streaming their latest single “Bodies”. The song is a lot heavier than I expected. To learn more about the song, check out their post here! And man do I understand being inside my own head in a vicious cycle of pride and worthlessness; I feel like a walking contradiction, so I relate to this song. The answer will always be to focus on Jesus instead of ourselves.
Behold The Beloved dropped “Dear Martyr”. Check out the press release for it here. When they played a demo of the song at a show live, I knew this would be one of my favorites by them, right behind Toxic Lullabies. BTB has shown with their latest songs that they are unafraid of standing upon the gospel no matter the cost. I also personally feel as if these songs are their best to date!
