Happy New Year! Welcome to the first post of Shay’s Way for 2025! I’m so glad you’ve chosen to join me on this journey of rawness, growth, discovery, and faith. Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges, celebrating its victories, or seeking deeper meaning, I hope these reflections will speak to and encourage you. As much as I want to use my personal stories and journey to encourage you, this will encourage me as well!
It’s so easy in the busyness of life to overlook the ways our faith influences our choices and perspectives. My hope and prayer is that this column will help us slow down together, to invite God into each day as we navigate through this thing called life. You can expect a range of topics from stories, random thoughts, music suggestions, all the things!
This year my focus words are ‘Abide’ and ‘Remain’. These two words remind me to stick with Jesus, no matter what I’m facing. So join me on this journey to grow—both in wisdom and in our walk with Christ—abiding and remaining in Him. So let’s begin this journey with open hearts, eager to see how God will move in and through us, even in the unexpected moments.
