Now we throw it all the way back to 2010 with a bit of Jingle Bell Rock, Thousand Foot Krutch style.
Everyone seems to dislike this song because it’s so sad, but all I see in it is love; love from the little boy to get his dying mum the shoes she wants (to return the love she’s shown him all his life), love from the person in the queue to help him out, and God’s love shining through it all. This isn’t a song about sadness; it’s a song about love, about helping others, and about reminding us of what this season is all about. This is my favourite Christmas song!
