End Of I dropped “The Storm”. Check out the lyric video below!
Fight The Fade dropped a music video for new song “Isolationist”. “Your darkest moments, no you’re not alone. The season will end.” We have all been in seasons of our lives where we feel alone, cut off from people. But seasons of life are temporary and changing. You won’t feel that way forever, so please keep fighting and never give up hope in what God will bring into your life.
Dorothy dropped a lyric video for her new song “The Devil I Know”. Yep, she did drop another banger! “Help Me Father. I’m calling out Your name. Forgive me for the damage I cause when I’m in pain. I know I’m self-destructive and I know my heart can stray.”
Skillet dropped their newest album “Revolution”. This album is their first one since they left a record label and went independent. I’ve been listening to it on repeat the last couple days; At first glance “Not Afraid” and “Unpopular” are the main takeaways I found. Not Afraid is most definitely my favorite song off the album. But after going over the lyrics to the songs, I can relate to both “Fire Inside” and “Defector” in my personal life as well. It was also touching to hear a song about Alex and how she’s grown and gotten married. I still want to think of her as the little kid in their old podcasts. There are so many great songs on this album; Check it out below and let me know your favorites!
Throwback song of the week is “Framing My Perception” by GFM.
That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
