Hey rockers and welcome to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.
Chaotic Resemblance dropped a music video for their song “Wrath of the Lamb”. The video starts off with shots of the band in black and white with what looks to be a revival in a meeting tent back in the day. Travis acting as a preacher, James as a piano player, and Logan as what looks to be a non-believer coming in and at first being anxious about being there. The video also cuts to present day (in color) with the band performing the song. Watch the music video below and find out how the story ends! Visually it’s very well done, and I’ve always loved this song. “This is the line in the sand. Revival will shake the land. Burning is the flame of first loves fire, your Gods desire”.
Foregone dropped a music video for new song “Road to Nowhere”. My favorite part is towards the end where we see a page nailed to the ground. The page being part of the book of John (John 5 starting at verse 19 to be exact). I also like how they put random lines and boxes throughout the video. I thought that looked cool visually. Check it out below!
Anberlin dropped their music video for new song “High Stakes”. All I can think about when watching this video is how amazing the color grading is. As a photographer I really do appreciate how they incorporated a different “feel” and color based on what was going on. The quality of the video is amazing as well. Overall, this video looks like it was incredibly fun to make.
VOTA is creating a music video for a new single as well as an album, and they want all of you to take part! They created a kickstarter so as to both fund it all, but also so fans can have cool perks. The new album’s name is “Back to the Start”. Check out their post about it here and the Kickstarter page here for more info!

Locloud dropped their debut single “Sleepwalker”, and you can check it out below! It’s a strong first single. If you would like to learn more about how the band came about, check out this interview they did! They also announced there will be a lyrics video for Sleepwalker on Friday. If you know me, you know how excited I am for a lyrics video! Let’s goooo! (I’ll comment more on the song next week with the lyrics so as to not repeat myself.)
Skillet dropped their latest single “Ash in the Wind”. Check out the lyric video below! I think out of the three singles released, their first one “Unpopular” is still my favorite. However, this is still a really solid single, especially the second verse (the two-way mirror section). Check out the lyric video below! Along with this, Skillet also announced another new single called “Revolution” will be out on November 1st. They also shared a photo of the whole album song list. Check it out here!
Throwback song of the week is Electric by Manic Drive (featuring Trevor McNevan)
