Ash Hepperly Releases Debut Single “Be”

Ash Hepperly is excited to announce the release of her debut single, “Be” on May 31st, 2024. This worshipful track showcases Hepperly’s dynamic vocals and story-telling, whilst also reflecting on her own journey to self-acceptance, which she hopes will help earn her place as an independent artist within the Christian music space.

Born and raised in East Tennessee, Ash Hepperly grew up in the Smoky Mountains and began teaching, traveling, and singing at only nine years old. Looking back on this time, Hepperly recalls her love for the simple life, learning music on her grandmother’s old piano, and listening to her stories about Dolly Parton, with whom she grew up with.

Hepperly pursued her passion by studying music and business at Lee University, and then returned home to take the senior worship leader position at RIO Revolution Church outside of Knoxville, TN.

After ten years of serving at Revolution, Hepperly followed her musical career once again, working closely with the Nashville Christian music industry. Yet, Hepperly quickly realised she “didn’t fit in the box,” which incited her decision to become an independent artist in the Christian music space.

Her debut single, “Be” is a reflection of these feelings, and Hepperly’s own journey to finding unconditional love and acceptance, where she could experience the freedom and true relationship with Jesus without fear. She shares, “Only once God started to show me his unconditional love and acceptance, could I write Be.”

With that same consideration, Hepperly has handcrafted “Be” with the utmost care, and is excited to launch it as her official introduction as an independent artist.

Of her music, Hepperly says, it “restored her simple life,” and encourages listeners to hear the hereditary folk influence in her songs.

“I make music because I love Jesus, and I want you to know how much he loves you. To the ones who always wanted God but never felt like you were enough for him – these songs are for you.”

“Be” is out on all streaming platforms now. Follow her on socials to say wired in to the latest updates; more music is expected this year.
