Rockers in AsFireFalls grieve a blighted relationship with “Know You”

Convictions dropped their newest single “Hurts Like Hell”. The title says it all, but to find out more on what hurts like hell, you can read the press release via here. Listen below and be ready to be overwhelmed with this one. This band reminds us of the point of any type of artistic expression. To show the world your worldview, your experiences, your joys, and your pain. To use your art as a way to put all of those things into something as an outlet for your feelings and what you’ve been through, and also for the audience to feel not so alone in their own lives as well. Thank you, Zach, for your willingness to pour your hurt into this song and be vulnerable about it.

Caddy&Co released his latest single “Real Little Bandbox”. He also shared a reel about how the single came to be. Check that out here! As I said in a previous roundup, I found out about Caddy&Co from an instagram reel recently, and each new song I hear from him makes me want to pay more and more attention! Check out Real Little Bandbox below. I want to drive down the highway with sunglasses on while jamming to this song.

It’s been a while since we’ve mentioned DAV in these roundups. Well DAV’s facebook page just got renamed to “Darkness 2 Light“. They also have a photo that has cool artwork on it with the word “Rest”. Check that out here! We hope that means new tunes soon!

Jon Foreman dropped a lyric video for his new single “Eulogy”. These lyrics hit hard. It’s weird, sometimes sad, and nostalgic to look back on who we used to be and the things we used to think. We may not all have written songs like Jon, but we all have our own versions. Letters we wrote, diaries we kept, videos we took, social media posts we made, conversations we held, or maybe just thoughts in our own heads. Whatever the case, as the years pass by and we grow, it is almost like a eulogy for the old us. Check out the song below!

Demon Hunter dropped a lyric video for their newest single “Black Stained Glass”. “Please don’t cast me out for learning to be numb. And for the wreck that I’ve become”. Such an emotionally heavy song. Check it out below!

Throwback song of the week is Anberlin’s song “Impossible”…. but performed live on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Check it out below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
