Rock News Roundup 185

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Matt Sassano released his latest single “Happy Family”. This is an extremely emotional, heavy hitting song about abusive situations. Do you want to learn more about the meaning behind the song? Check out his post about it here and check out the song below! Thanks Matt for stepping up to the plate and putting out such a needed song for people in this situation.

Parrish came out with his latest single “Bad Excuse”. This song has a very powerful message to it that I feel like I could sing at the top of my lungs. I think generally speaking we can all think of someone we feel is corrupt or leading people astray and who we want to stand up to. Some of my favorite lyrics are “Pardon me it’s part of my occupation. To do what I’m told by corporations. Manipulate the information.” Want to learn more about the song? Check out the post on it here and then check out the lyric video below!

Bayless’s teaser turned out to be a new EP in the works. They shared a little more about said EP in their post here. We are so excited!

New Music: Bayless - Sojourner

3 Days Under shared a teaser for their upcoming release of “Fruit of the Flesh”. Check out the teaser here! It sounds awesome so far and we cannot wait to hear the finished product!

Spoken released their latest single “Sleeper” featuring Ryan Clark (of Demon Hunter). As one would expect with a Spoken and Ryan Clark collab, it goes harrrd! I would love to see a mosh pit happen at a show during this song. My favorite part is the chorus “We’ve all been asleep. And now our memories will begin to rise”. Check out the single below and be sure to comment on the video and let them know what you think!

12 Stones is remastering one of their cover songs. Check out their post about that here!

Red Letter Rising is releasing their newest single “Rejects” to radio on March 8th and streaming on April 19th. Check out their post about that here! Speaking of the song, they also announced that you have until March 10th to submit a video for their Rejects music video! Check out more on that (and hearing part of the song/seeing the lyrics) here.

Strength Betrayed came out with a banger called “Bleed”. Some favorite lyrics include: “Now I know the truth. I promised myself I would never be anything like you yet here I am”. Check it out below!

Behold The Beloved dropped “Toxic Lullabies” and it is their best song yet! If you haven’t read the posts by the band in the previous weeks in connection to the song, you can learn more about the meaning of the song via here! “The melody is blasphemy. A sugar-coated profanity.” They also announced that there will be a lyric video dropping on Wednesday! Check out their post on that here. Thank you BTB for this much needed song in our generation. As Christians it’s important to remain vigilant against wolves in sheep’s clothing and recognize what is and is not biblical truth.

Throwback song of the week is Born For This by The Letter Black. It happens to be Sarah Anthony’s (singer of TLB) birthday today and I figured I would share my favorite song of theirs. Make sure to wish her a Happy Birthday!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
