Rock News Roundup 183

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Seventh Day Slumber released their latest single “My Novocain”. I really feel connected to this song. With lyrics like “So, tell me, are You listening? If You’re up there talking, I can’t hear it.
You don’t need to part the sea , I’ll take a whisper. Just need to feel it, ’cause I’m trying to believe” it feels like they pulled thoughts from my own head and turned it into a song. Check it out below.

Spoken announced a new single coming out called “Sleeper” featuring Ryan Clark (of Demon Hunter). Sleeper drops on February 23rd. Check out the post on that here!

Switchfoot shared about the cool opportunity they had for their song “I Won’t Let You Go” to be featured in a trailer for the upcoming movie “Ordinary Angels”. Check that out here!

Speaking of Switchfoot, Jon Foreman shared a teaser about a new album coming out this spring. With the title “In Bloom”, you can check out the teaser video for it below! You can also check out more info on his facebook page about it here!

Reclaim The Day shared some incredibly sad news, and it may also be eye opening to some of you. They have some stalkers/haters who have been threatening the band in various ways. Check out their post about that here to read their statement. If you are not involved in the music industry, you may not think about things like this, especially when it involves Christian music. Sadly though it happens, and more than you think. This is why you should always go to lengths to support bands, both financially and emotionally. Most importantly, always pray for them! Jesuswired stands with you RTD! <3

Mourning Eve shared a very small teaser clip of new music. Check it out here and get ready for a mosh sesh!

Veridia released their final song for the foreseeable future (as they are going on a break) called “When The Moon Dies”. If you missed the statement relating to the band going on a hiatus, you can check it out here. Thank you Veridia for all the amazing music you have released, including this one! We will miss you and wish you well on wherever God leads you next.

Throwback song of the week is Finish Line by Skillet. Check it out below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
