Rock News Roundup 180

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

P.O.D released “I Won’t Bow Down”. After six years they are back with new music, and it is rockin’! My favorite lyric in the song is “The pain today is power tomorrow.” I Won’t Bow Down is off of their unreleased album “Veritas”. Veritas comes out on May 3rd. Listen to I Won’t Bow Down below!

Autumn Eve released the music video for “Blood, Sweat, and Tears”. And did she deliver or what? From the very first few lines, I could tell this was going to be a banger. And towards the end with the lyrics “And now I see, it’s not me who needs to heal your insecurities!”, that hit hard 100%. The guitar break and camera spray painting were the cherry on the top. Check it out below! Great job Autumn. <3

Bayless shared a teaser with epic instrumentals. A new single perhaps? Check it out here and make sure to follow them on their socials to keep updated!

Mourning Eve shared a post explaining how they came to be as a band. Check it out here! Right after that explanation they posted their first part of a cover song! They covered “Architects” by Hereafter. Check it out here. This cover is siiiick! Metalheads, it’s your time to shine!

Manafest released “No Stranger to the Pain”. On his socials he mentions that the photo is of him as a kid, and how he was bullied in school for being overweight. He also mentions how he gained confidence through skateboarding and God. Check out the song below!

John Cooper was just featured in “Wolf” by Saint Asonia. Check out the live music video below! Sidenote: I said this before when Adam was featured with TFK recently, but I have adored Adam’s vocals for years. Hearing John and Adam singing in the same song is perfection.

Spoken released “Anymore” featuring Brian Head Welch. This hits deeeeep! From the very first lyric (“I see the way you hesitate When you walk into the room. You’re second guessing everything. What they think about you”), I knew this would be my new favorite Spoken song. Great collab with Brian as well, and in the exact right place during the song. Chills!

The throwback song of the week is a “newer” song than any of the others I’ve shared. It’s “Dear Self” by Nine Lashes. This epic song came out 3 years ago. Check out the lyric video below!

I’m also going to sneak in a quick Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to Joey (of Disciple) and Tabitha West! Here is to many many maaany more years of you together! <3

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
