Multi-Platinum and award-winning duo for KING + COUNTRY recently partnered with Melodic Caring Project to bring joy to kids who are in hospital care over the holidays, as they livestreamed their concert performance from the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 22 — which included special shout-outs to nine “rockSTAR” fans across the U.S. The last show of for KING + COUNTRY’s “A DRUMMER BOYCHRISTMAS |THE2023 TOUR EXPERIENCE,” the performance marked a special place in the hearts of “rockSTAR” kids located in Alabama, Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Alaska, Arizona, Oregon, Florida, and Washington.

Says for KING + COUNTRY, “Something really beautiful happened at the show.  We partnered with the Melodic Caring Project to stream the concert to kids watching in their hospital and home-care rooms around the country. They couldn’t be there in-person with us so we were honored to stream the show to them to send them some love and encouragement.”

Melodic Caring Project (MCP), a Washington based 501(c) 3 has a mission of encouraging hospitalized kids battling profound illness. The organization does this through streaming live concerts to kids in their hospital and home-care rooms around the world. The kids become the “rockSTARS!” During the concerts the artists call the kids out by name and dedicate songs to them making it a truly unique, powerful and personal experience for the kids, their families, the artist and the audience at the show. MCP was founded in 2010 and has partnered with over 400 artists to serve over 44,000 kids and family members in 300+ hospitals in 27 countries around the world since then.
