Rock News Roundup 176

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Thousand Foot Krutch dropped their re-imagined song of “Let the Sparks Fly” featuring Adam Gontier of Saint Asonia. This is most definitely my favorite re-imagined song to date, although I may be a bit biased as I’ve always loved Adam’s vocals. Adam absolutely killed his parts, and his vocals and Trevor’s vocals are perfect together! Check it out below.

Spoken dropped their newest music video for new single “Reflection”. This is a new chapter for Spoken and they killed this song! Check it out below. As it turns out, Reflection is also the name of their new album which you can pre-order via their post here! The album is set to release on March 15th, 2024.

Brian Head Welch (of “Korn” and “Love and Death”) has announced he started a new record label called “XOVR Records” with his solo manager David Williams. Spoken’s new album is being released through it! Check out more info on that here. Who else is excited for what the future holds?

Nine Lashes has announced some incredible news! They are hard at work while working on an album and that work led them to Josiah Prince’s recording studio “The Ranch“. Check out their post about that here. I can’t wait to hear the new album!

Rock News Roundup 12

NewReleaseToday has opened up their voting for their annual “We Love Christian Music Awards“, and for their rock song of the year category the nominees are Disciple, Lacey Sturm, NEEDTOBREATHE, RED, and World Gone Cold. Skillet is nominated in the music video of the year category. Congratulations to all the nominees. To vote you can go to their post about it here

The Protest released a new music video for “Dying Breath”. Like I said when this single first came out, it’s one of my favorite songs by them. Dying Breath and Greater are my two theme songs that remind me who I am and why I do what I do. Check out the music video below!

Pillar has released tickets to their Tulsa show. They are only performing 3 shows in 2024 so make sure you go to one. Check out their post about Tulsa here and their shows at the BMI center as well as the Alive Festival both in Ohio here. Also make sure you post on the venue’s pages about why you are going! The more love a band gets on socials, the more a venue will think about having them back! I’m excited for what the future holds for Pillar! <3

Throwback song of the week is “Remedy” by Behold the Beloved. Awesome song from some of my favorite people. Check it out below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
