Rock News Roundup 170

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Matt Sassano released his newest single “Fuel”. Check out what he has to say about the song via here and take a listen to it below! I think this is an epic follow- up to “Not My Name”. Any of us who have decided to go after our dreams can get hurt by people we thought were closest to us. Don’t let your relationships in this world stifle what God has planned in your life, and don’t let society ostracizing you stop you from finding Jesus’s healing grace. Remember, even Jesus Himself was not only ostracized by the Pharisees, but he was made fun of by his own town and brothers as well. Keep to the path God has placed you on.

Autumn Eve is in the process of making a new single called “Blood, Sweat, & Tears” + a music video for it. Check out her post about that here! If you haven’t checked her out before, you can listen to her song “Courageous” below. She’s a new friend I met at this year’s Kingdom Come Festival and I’m looking forward to hearing her new song!

Relent is no longer set to be on Disciple‘s “Skeletour”. This also sadly means Patrick Madsen will no longer be filling in on the first 3 dates for Miggy.

The good news is that depending on the tour stop, Behold the Beloved or The Protest are on the tour with some appearances from Honor & Glory as well. Check out Disciple’s post on that here to find out which band is playing on which date.

Relesser released a music video for “Wasteland”. Check it out below! (also I noted that some of the footage was taken at KCF, epicness!!)

Set For The Fall released their latest single “Dead and Gone”. This is going on my gym playlist (yes I actually do have one!). Check out Dead and Gone below! “It’s hard enough to handle the abuse coming from you. We can’t fight now, there’s nothing left to prove. But somehow you still seem to always disapprove.”

Manafest released a music video for “Help”. This one is deep. Listening to the lyrics and hearing the pain in his voice brings me to tears. Check it out below. “I know my soul’s in danger. I’m my own worst hater. I don’t know how this ends. In the name of Jesus. I need some help.”

American Arson released a music video for “Arrowheads”. Check it out below! I love that they made this a tour vlog video to give us a peak into life on tour.

Skillet won the Dove award for “Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year”. Check out their post on that here and congratulations Skillet!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
