Amongst Wolves & WYLD Announce End of Bands

Two UK artists recently sadly announced their bands were coming to an end, rockers Amongst Wolves & electronic pop artist WYLD. Their announcements and a couple of my personal favourite works of theirs are below.

Amongst Wolves

After six years of being part of Amongst Wolves, we have decided to move on to other things. We have all absolutely loved being together as a band, and we’re super sad to be leaving, but we’ve felt like God has been speaking to us all about doing different things for a little while now, and the timing of it all felt right.

First of all, we want to say a huge thank you to all our fans, everyone who has supported us on this crazy journey and encouraged us along the way. We’ve loved hanging out with you in schools, jumping around at gigs with you and getting to know your stories both on social media and in person. It’s been an absolute privilege getting to know you.
We also want to thank everyone who has played a part in this band – Kariss, Joe, Lucinda, Jonah, Meg, Tim O, Judith, Hannah, Matt, Tim G, Al, Mike and so many more at The Message Trust. We’re so grateful for you.
We’ve always said that the reason why we’re a band is not for the music, it’s simply to tell you that you are loved. It’s to tell you that there is a God who adores you and thinks you’re worth everything. So much so that He gave His life for you. And He wants to journey life with you if you choose Him. That’s been our message from day one and will always be.
So, whatever you’re going through, whoever you are, this is for you:
God’s got you. Cry out to Him. Keep talking to people and keep talking to Him. He wants to give you life.
So please, choose to live.

Love Clay, Mark, Andy and Dan

WYLD is coming to an end.

There will be a lot of people to thank for the past 6/7 years of work and I hope to be able to do that in person or online but it’s been a journey with lots of relationships built which I’m very grateful for and look forward to continuing away from music.

For now, I have one more small EP out on November 3rd and then it’s all finished
