adamariz has once again teamed up with producer, 1995, to bring you her latest single, “NOT SORRY”. With a cover inspired by Toy Story, adamariz claps back at the devil by being unashamed of her testimony. In addition to the cover being similar to “Toy Story’s”, the opening line “There was a snake in my boot”, is a play on what Woody said, referencing someone who was a snake to adamariz. There are only 2 lines in Spanish but they are very important to the theme. “El amor que no senti [The love I did not feel],lo encontré en El que me dio paz y la habilidad de ser feliz [I found in the One who gave me peace and the ability to be happy], signify finding God and His real love after exiting the past relationship. Adamariz realized the only way to combat the devil was to be connected to God first and then people who are uplifting, rather than neglective. After the realization that truth was found in the bible, adamariz found renewed hope. She then ended the song by telling God to send a message to the devil saying she is “not sorry” for following God rather than him. This is a reflective anthem for those who need to tell the devil they aren’t sorry for following God. With a vibey instrumental and vulnerable yet captivating lyrics, this song is sure to leave you excited for the next single produced by 1995, MINDSET dropping September 20.
