Rock News Roundup 163

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Ignescent is now signed to Frontiers Music srl! Check out their post about that here. Congrats guys!

Jon Sumrall of Kutless is going on a Christmas tour with special guest Jonathan Arthur. Check out Faith Artist Agency‘s post about that here!

Skillet shared a mini clip of Jen singing a new rendition of one of their older songs “Collide”. I felt this should be added because A: it’s a beautiful heart wrenching version of the song, and B: because it’s a much-needed song for society today. Check out the clip of her version here. Who else thinks there should be a full version of it released? While we are at it, we may as well do a (or another) throwback. Check out John singing Collide live back in the day!

Magdalene Rose announced her new single “A Bad Residential” featuring Spencer of Underoath is dropping on August 25th. Check out her post about that here!

Disciple‘s single “Promise To Live” has been nominated for a dove award! Check out their post about that here and congratulations Disciple! Also, check out the song below and please remember that the situation you find yourself in is not all there is, nor is it all you are. There is more to you and to life than pain and heartache.

Lacey Sturm dropped her new single “Breathe With Me” featuring Lindsey Stirling. There are so many amazing musicians that have been featured on each other’s music this year and I’m loving it! Lindsey caught my attention years ago when she had Lzzy Hale feature in her song “Shatter Me“. Fast forward to now, seeing her with Lacey Sturm just makes sense! Lindsey’s passion of the violin works so well with Lacey’s passionate vocals. Check it out below!

Our throwback song of week is POD’s “Alive”. Check it out below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
