Rock News Roundup 161

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

As We Are‘s new single “Addiction” is out now! Like the title suggests, the song is about addiction. Particularly it’s about someone losing a loved one to it. This is such a hard but pressing topic. Unfortunately, we cannot force anyone to get better; But it can still feel like it’s on us anyways. Check it out below. Addiction is off their upcoming album “This isn’t the end; It’s only the beginning” out on September 8th. Check out their post about that here!

TheoTerran released their self-named debut album! Check out their post about that here. They also released a music video for their single “Static”. It’s cool when I get to say I’m proud of my friends! They created an amazing album and music video. I just wish I could have been on the set of the music video so I could see all the laughing, smiling, and outtakes. Lots of “ehhhhs” I’m sure. Check it out below. Let’s keep fighting back against Union City Corp! Ehhhhhhhh <3

Ken Reed of Seventh Day Slumber is currently on tour as a bassist for Kelly Clarkson. Check out a video of the first stop of the tour here! (It looks pretty siiick, and I’m proud to know amazing people like him!)

Reborn just came out with their debut album “The War Within”. Check out their post about it here or listen to the playlist below! After taking a listen, make sure to give them feedback! They specifically are wondering if people like Truth Inside or Worship You Alone more. Check out their post about asking for feedback here! As for myself, I’m going to go with Truth Inside.

Hello Luna came out with a music video for their new single “Buried On The Inside”. Just like their last song (Sweet and Deranged), Buried On The Inside tackles some hard hitting lyrics. “Wait am I just dreaming or am I awake. It’s all free fall there’s no escape. But if I take the pill will I feel safe. Or will I be crushed under my own weight.” Check it out below!

HolyName released their “Initiation: Live in Chicago” livestream event. Check out the video below and you can buy the live album here! Who else feels the need to dive more into this band? I want to see them live now! Their music is beautifully mixed of worship and metal. “Jesus I’ve come to be with You”.

Our throwback song of the week is what I feel about society right now, ngl. Skillet’s “Rippin Me Off”. Take a listen below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
