Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.
Flyleaf shared some new merch items and this has me hyped for the festivals they are gearing up to play at! (Blue Ridge Rock Fest, Bamboozle Fest, Summerfest, and Inkcarceration Festival). If you were curious as to who designed their new merch, that would be our friends Jarob and Josh Bramlett (from The Protest) of Quiet Strength Design. Check out their post about that here! (and see all the other amazing designs they have done for some of our favorite artists!)

Magdalene Rose premiered her music video for her new single “Shark Spray”. It couldn’t have been easy for her to mouth the lyrics while having to hold a weight to keep her from floating up, with her dress floating all around her. However, the end product is amazing, and she makes it look flawless! Check it out below and congratulations Maggie for it having over 29,000 views in just 3 days! (10,000 in under 24 hours!) You definitely deserve it.
Metalcore band Finding Neverland released their newest single “Comforter”. Check out their music video for the song below! The lyrics in this song sound like something we all need to hear, especially myself. Here is one of my favorite parts of the song. “You have permission. To wreck what I call home. Remove what disagrees with Your love”. This reminds me that not everything we love, are comfortable with, and chase after are from God. But God will, in His mercy, give us a nudge (or sometimes a shove) to steer us back on course! You can read all of the lyrics in the description of the music video!
Reborn announced they have a new album coming out this year! Check that announcement out here!

Manafest is releasing a spoken word album called “Words Are Weapons” and he is using kickstarter to do it! Check out his kickstarter via here to find out more and to pre-order/get cool perks!

Living Scars is releasing “Silence” on April 21st. Check out their post about that here and you can pre-save it here!

Matty Mullins released a beautiful worship song called “Nails” about the death of Jesus on the cross and how it was solely His choice to die. “It was Your love for me holding You on that tree. It wasn’t the nails, cause with one word You could’ve stopped the hurt.” You can check out the music video for that below and read the incredible lyrics in the description of the video.
My latest throwback song is “Shut Me Out” by Kutless. With this throwback I have to admit I’ve only heard the song the past year or so. But man, this would have been another anthem song in my teen years! Check it out below!
That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
