Rock News Roundup 146

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Magdalene Rose‘s new single “Shark Spray” comes out this Friday! Check out her post on that here and pre-save here.

Nothing More came out with a song that features Lacey Sturm. It’s called “Best Times” and you can check out the music video below! One of the lessons Lacey Sturm has imparted to her own fanbase is Memento Mori, remember your mortality. It can be so easy to take things for granted until it’s too late. I think this song helps us to remember to be thankful for the best of times. Thank you Nothing More and Lacey for the reminder.

Relent released their newest single “Soldier” and I got to say it’s my favorite song from them yet! (With maybe the exception of heavy, it’s a hard choice between the two of them) Soldier is off of their upcoming album “World War Me” coming out on April 7th!

The Grizzly Awards held their 4th Annual Ceremony this past Saturday and it was pretty great if I do say so myself! (Unbiasedly, of course!) You can check it out below. I have to say, the 30-minute marker is one of my favorite parts of the whole ceremony. (Again, totally unbiased!) Congratulations to Sean Ely, Demon Hunter, Seventh Day Slumber, Matt Sassano, Wolves at the Gate, Kutless, Reclaimers, Rusty Shipp, Relentless Flood, and Convictions for winning in their categories. Thanks both to all the winners and to all the nominees for the impact they have each left on our community. Finally, thank you to the amazing team who puts this on, Mary Nikkel, Cindy Blankenship, Joel Burris, Jake Jones, and Trevor Tyson.

Counter is releasing their latest single “Fallen” on April 6th. Check out their post on that here!

Verra Cruz is releasing “King” on May 12th. Check out their post here and pre-save here!

Labor XII released a pretty cool teaser video about their upcoming music video for Psychofantic. In the teaser they shared about their fundraiser for the music video. Check out the video below (at your own risk!) and you can go here to donate and get some cool stuff in the process!

Skillet released their music video for “Psycho in My Head” and it certainly is “lit”! (pun intended) Check out the music video below!

That ends this week’s rock news roundup. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and may God bless and keep you all!
