Come Home is a prodigal story, and was birthed from the first 2 lines of the song which were stuck in my head when I woke up one morning. I felt that the Lord was pressing me to write this song. When I sat back and looked at the completed lyrics I felt like the Lord was reaching out to lost sheep, those that have been His children, but have somehow lost their way, and when I played it for my producer the first time, it was confirmation. He said, “The world needs to hear this song”. I pray that this song will bring about the return of God’s people who have gone astray and lost their way, that they will realise that they’re never too far from God, He’s waiting for them with open arms.
