Rock News Roundup 138

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Project 86 came out with a new single called “0 (is greater than) 1” with a music video to go along with it. If you are a fan of heavy, this is for you! Also, these lyrics are goosebump worthy. My favorite part is “Delete, discredit the voice of dissent. Command, control, and delete. Mining your interests, mining your tastes. Inventing the cure to devise the disease”. Check it out below.

Pillar, whose facebook had previously been hacked, announced they got their account back. Check out their post about that here. We are so glad they got it back!

Skillet released their new remix of “Finished Line” featuring Adam Gontier off of their upcoming album “Dominion: Day of Destiny”. I’m going to be honest; remixes are (usually) not my style. Especially when it’s one of my favorites off the original album, like Finish Line is on Dominion. But I have to say, I absolutely adore hearing Adam’s voice in this song. John and Adam are two parts of my teen years and I think their voices complement each other very well. Check it out below!

Ignescent announced their cover of “Radio Gaga” is being put on hold due to some unreleased news happening they have just found out. Check out their post about that here.

DeadSin announced they are coming out with a new single called “Vapor” on February 3rd. You can pre-save that here. They also announced Keagan and Phillip are no longer active members in the band. You can check out their statement on that here. May God bless you both in your future endeavours!

Micah Ariss released his latest single “Come to Light”, with a music video attached. In my humble opinion it is definitely his best song to date! Great job Micah! Check it out below. He also has another new single called “Defiler” coming out on February 17th featuring Chandler Burton. Check out his post on that here!

The Grizzly Awards announced that voting has opened up so that everyone can cast their votes for who they think is the best fit for each category. Check out their post about that here and vote via here! Being nominated myself is beyond humbling and I very much thank every one of you who made that happen. I want to congratulate my fellow nominees Chad Fenner, William Moore, Matt Arcaini, and Sean Ely! I also want to congratulate all the other nominees in the other categories. Each one of you have been a crucial part of this amazing community. I love you all!
