Rock News Roundup 123

Hey rockers and welcome back to this week’s rock news roundup! Check below to see what your favorite rock artists are up to this week.

Our good friend Trevor Talks is hosting “Choose to Live”, a suicide prevention event that will be talked about for a very long time. It will be held on Trevor Talk’s youtube channel on Saturday, September 10th at 8 PM EST. With both highly known and highly anticipated Christian and non-Christian artists who will either be giving voice to this important mission of suicide prevention or performing some of their amazing songs, you will not want to miss out! Artists such as Disciple, The Protest, Lacey Sturm, Brian Head Welch, Adam Gontier, Chris Kael, and more! I know these conversations will be very heartfelt and very much needed in our society. You can find out more information through the press release here!

Rockers unite for massive suicide prevention livestream, including members of Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, P.O.D.

Amongst The Giants released their newest single “Medicated”. This is my favorite song they have come out with for sure! Check it out below. Go here to listen to Marco opening up about the meaning behind the song. Thanks Marco/ATG for being so vulnerable with this song. Many of us have stories that relate to this as well.

Undefeated dropped their newest single “Future”. It sounds like it belongs on a movie/show soundtrack. It’s so good ya’ll! Check it out below!

Fit For A King just dropped “Falling Through the Sky” and it is such a masterpiece ya’ll! FFAK is not usually in my wheelhouse, but this song is definitely changing that opinion. I need to see this song performed live for sure! Watch the music video for it below and let me know what you think and if you agree with me.

7eventh Time Down will be performing at Ichthus festival this Saturday, the 10th of September. You can check out the band’s post about that here and go here for the festival schedule/lineup. If you are unaware of the history of Ichthus, Ichthus was the very first Christian Music Festival in the US which was started in 1970, however due to some financial difficulties it got shut down after 40+ years of the festival. Thankfully it was relaunched last year under a new owner (Joe and Cheryl Lycan) who have an amazing heart for the Lord and for witnessing. If you live in or around Wilmore, KY please go to this amazing event. We are so excited for lives to be changed. You can get tickets on their website here.

Convictions is teasing that something is dropping/going on October 7th. Check out their post here and make sure to keep up with them to find out what it is!

Ashes Remain is taking part in a free pop-up concert at Perry Hall Family Worship Center in Perry Hall, Maryland on September 17th. Check out the post about that here and make sure to go to the show if you can!
