Benton was blessed to pen Rest Easy with her co-writers Nick Morrow of Mountaintops Music and Steve Davis. After a season of deep grief and unrest, Anna wanted an anthem to remind people to rest easy in the Lord’s promise; He will never leave you nor forsake you. This is also the first track that has been fully produced by Benton’s husband, JR Benton.
With heavy southern guitars, and the sound of chains falling, Benton hopes this song will find believers who need a pick-me-up song; a reminder that we are victorious through Christ!
