New Release Day Roundup: 10/1/21

All of today’s new releases and videos can be seen here and here respectively (or at least the ones we know about or have time to round up!). Below are some of my highlights which will be updated throughout the day (as will the new release list and video gallery).

Dropped new music or visuals today? Let us know here & here respectively.

Featured Release

With so many phenomenal albums releasing today this was hard to pick but I’m going to have to go with the most unique, Young Pop Renegades 2021: Origin. You can find out much about this project in parts one and two of my look at the origins behind Origin with the artists involved on the project. Part 3 will be posted on Monday.

Here’s the MEGA collab on the album with all 11, yes I said ELEVEN, artists on it – nobody. The irony of that track name has only just struck me typing that!

Where else could I possibly start but with Andy Mineo’s Never Land 2? After several weeks of delays due to a copyright issue, it has finally Landed and my goodness it was worth the wait! I full expect this to storm the charts and make such a positive impact in this world. Those first 3 tracks certainly make a big impact off the bat!

Between You & Me

If there’s a new episode of our associate podcast Between You & Me out in the world, I’ll start highlighting it here. Today’s new episode features JesusWired friend Tasha Layton and we couldn’t be happier she’s finally appeared on the podcast. You want real? Tasha’s going to provide it and Between You & Me is a space for just that. Real.

How Ridiculous

Unless there’s suddenly no video upload from them (in which case I might cry!), I will always highlight their new video here. There’s no better way to start your weekend than with a dose of How Ridiculous detruction, positivity and a totally legit science class with Gaunson. So, how many concrete slabs will the 1000lbs spiked wrecking ball get through?

I hope these roundups introduce you to a few new artists each week. I’m aiming to have these up as early on release days as possible from next week onwards.

If you know of any releases I’ve missed on the new releases list or any videos in the video gallery, let me know in the comments below/send us a DM on social media. Want to come on board and help us cover more on new release days, or any other day for that matter, please contact us and read more information here (we’re looking for tons of new writers currently, I can’t cover everything!).

I hope everyone reading this has a great weekend, and I’ll see you next Friday for the next roundup.
