Eklezia Release Their Debut Album, Based On True Events

Eklezia is a new and upcoming production team with a mission to impact souls through meaningful song lyrics and various genres, including acoustic rap, R&B/Soul, jazz, ballads, and indie folk. Made up of music producers, singers, writers, and video editors, this production team has made it their mission to use their talent for the Glory of God.

Their latest album, Based On True Events, was entirely inspired by their real-life testimonies, mirrored through characters the Bible highlighted in the Old and New Testament. Eklezia flawlessly portrayed six stories of the bible through six different tracks, plus an additional 60-second interlude of James 1:22-25. The lyrical depth and the musical diversity for each song, bring to life each story being told. Their first track, In The Beginning, is an old-school R&B-inspired song with deep 808 transitions and a smooth harmonic chorus. Their last song, Midnight, is a spoken word with atmospheric and acoustic elements that highlight the deep lyrics of how the primitive Christian church began, versus what it has become, and what God has called us to be in this conflicting time. All in between, each track speaks of a biblical truth that has been of profound importance to this talented group.
