My Silent Reality released their debut single ‘In My Head’ on Friday, May 28th. The track is listerners’ first taste of the band’s dynmaic mix ahead off their upcoming debut EP, “Quarantine.”
My Silent Reality is headed up by lead singer and songwriter, Andrew “Drew” Wright – who, with 20% of his hearing, defies all odds to bring you “In My Head” – a song of internal struggle we all face, whether that be anxiety, depression, negative self-image, etc.
“End of the day, I think we all feel, at some point in our lives, that we are drowning in our emotions and feelings. That darkness surrounds us in our most vulnerable times. Takes our breath away at times.” Wright says. “My darkness and pain stems from my disability and battling with it daily and it may be different than your feelings of pain, neglect, depression – whatever – but our emotions are the same. For that reason, I am extremely excited about how this is going to connect with them emotionally and musically.”
