Using bible verses from Isiah 60 and Revelation in combination with a symbolic choice of words – she dares every christian to wake up and take Gods calling for us personally serious. ‘Wide Awake’ speaks about the return of the ‘sun’ or actually ‘The Son’. Quoting: “the clock is ticking its running out of time” meaning it won’t be long until Jesus’ return.
