Gwil Davey releases first single ‘Arise’

Gwil Davey has released his first single called ‘Arise’.

“This song has really come from a collaboration with musician and producer Jamie Beattie based in London. It’s both our first project and it was such an incredible experience to work with together. The track, based on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–11) and Psalm 95, comes from a want to see the Church return to the heart of what worship should be, that is, worshipping the one true God” – Gwil Davey

The new single – ‘Arise’ aims to return the church to the true worship of God and to encourage congregations to sing for their Lord.

Gwil’s resonant voice twinned with the arrangement of bass, guitars and synths makes ‘Arise’ a big, full sounding track.
