Christian Rock Band Buried Above has been working hard in the studio this summer. The band finished recording a new album with help from Josiah Prince and Andrew Stanton last month. You can go here to see more about that.
Today the band has released a new single called “It’s Never Too Late”. It’s Never Too Late is a song that captures the essence of the title itself. With lyrics such as “There are times when you might feel like letting go, and you’re tempted to end it but I want you to know, it’s never too late, so don’t say goodbye.” It’s a song about there being hope for the future.
The song comes with a music video which was produced by ATD Media and directed by Colton Reed and Joel Burris. The music video for this song starts off with a girl in a cemetery. Throughout the video it shows scenes of her in mourning over her mother who died, and through her grief she has thoughts of suicide. You see her in various scenes with a photo of her mom. Mixed into that are shots of the band with lights surrounding them.
The music video drives home the message the lyrics portray. Your pain will not overwhelm you forever and there is always hope for a better tomorrow. Colton Reed, the lead singer of Buried Above had this to say “I just want to say that the song is a message of hope for all who are hurting ❤️ and there’s always someone listening.”
