Welcome to our fourteenth rock news roundup. I hope you all are enjoying reading what is going on in the rock community as much as I am! So let’s get to it.
Skillet starts us off this week with a re-imagined version of their song “Save Me”, which Korey Cooper produced! You can listen to the full song here.
Kutless shared an update on the making of some new songs for the new album! If you haven’t heard, Josiah Prince of Disciple is co-producing on this album. Also, if you want to check out a sneak peek at the process that is taking place, click here.
Chains Unchained Festival announced today that they will be live streaming the whole event for those who can’t make it. Take a look at the info and grab your tickets!
Stryper has a new single and a new album coming out. The details on that is set to be revealed tomorrow, so stay tuned!
Anberlin has some sad news for their fans. The Blueprints livestream that was scheduled to take place tomorrow is getting postponed. Sadly some of the Anberlin guys have tested positive for Co-vid 19. Please pray with us in asking God to heal them completely. With that said, they have already rescheduled the show to July 10th. Check out more info on that below!
Righteous Vendetta has finally been able to release their record “Not Dead Yet”, which is an album that got rejected by their old record label back in 2015. The album is on both Spotify and on iTunes, so listen to it and grab your copy today!
And for our final rock news in this roundup, we will be going a little more worship with a new song from Forsaken Hero and Emerald Escape. Forsaken Hero and Emerald Escape did an amazing team up with former Skillet drummer Lori Peters, along with her husband Chris George, and Newsong’s Rico Thomas for the song “These Moments”. This team up made a powerful statement about praising God even in the midst of darkness. The music video gives us a peek into the situations that are going on in the world right now, making the song’s message even more prominent.
And with that, may God’s grace be with you all for the remainder of the week. See you all next week!
