Hey all! Let’s take a look at yet another week of rock news!
The Protest starts us off this week! The Protest announced to their fans that those who bought their “share the love” t-shirt were going to be entered into a drawing for a cool prize! They are announcing five winners tomorrow on a live broadcast, where they will also be doing a live performance. You won’t want to miss out on this, so check out their post below for more details!
Next Level Concert Promotions hosted a live online concert this past Saturday that included the bands The Persuaded, Chaotic Resemblance, Amongst The Giants, Weapons of God, and 3 Days Under. If you missed the show when it was live, you can still watch it now! Watch the first band, 3 Days Under below, and then go to the event page to watch the other performances here. And don’t forget to rock out while you watch!
We have two new pieces of news for Lacey Sturm! The first is that she is in a new music video for Breaking Benjamin’s re-imagined song “Dear Agony”, which adds a unique tone to the song from its original version.
The second piece of news for Lacey Sturm is that we are getting new music from Lacey herself! A new single, “The Decree”, comes out next month on May 15th. Who else will be counting down the days?
We also have two pieces of news from Skillet! The first is that Skillet shared a live video for their song “Never Surrender”. They started the video off with John Cooper quoting Psalm 34:18, before diving into the song. I hope it is as much of a comfort to you all as it was to me!
The second piece of news is that Skillet wants to answer your questions tomorrow on twitter before they release their new live video for “Save Me”. Make sure you check in with them at 4 PM EST to ask some questions!
And last in our roundup is the band Bayless. If you have seen Bayless’s newest music video that premiered last Friday, maybe you have a few questions about how they were able to pull it off? Wonder no more! They have explained it in a facebook post with a link for the video attached. And if you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for? Go take a look! You can also hear more about what went into making the video here.
So much excitement going on in this community! Well, that’s all for this week, so check back in for more fantastic rock news next Thursday. See you all then!
