Newsboys United’s 2020 Greatness Of Our God Tour with Mandisa and Adam Agee visited Richmond, Virginia on 3-1-20. Get a front row perspective from the slideshow below by Annette Holloway, and recap video by Zach Blackburn and Annette Holloway.

This world is always crying out for hope, and Newsboys United, with special guests Mandisa and Adam Agee, delivered over three hours’ worth in Richmond, Virginia March 1, 2020. With former Newsboys front man Peter Furler joining the band’s current vocal powerhouse Michael Tait, the supergroup continues to tour in 2020 (Spring rescheduled dates here). Virginia fans spanning generations were not disappointed with Newsboys United’s signature explosion of lasers, lights, and life-giving lyrics, mixing new and vintage hits throughout the night. Their latest album United was released May 2019 and debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, so some were seeing select songs performed live for the first time. Grammy® winner and American Idol Season 5 finalist Mandisa delivered optimism and hope with powerful songs “Overcomer,” “Unfinished,” and her new song, “Waymaker.” Her joy was infectious, and she had fans dancing in the aisles. Only she can talk about serious life struggles but still leave hearts filled with joy and determination.

Music veteran Adam Agee set the stage for the night performing one of my favorite Audio Adrenaline songs, “Move” and the powerful “Fighting for You” from his solo EP Paper Planes. Before his solo project, he was lead singer of Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline. Adam currently serves with God’s Not Dead Missions in partnership with Baja Christian Ministries.
