What makes you a warrior? We are all fighting our own “battles”— those things that cause us to lose sleep, worry, seek support, or kneel in prayer. Our greatest source of strength and courage isn’t far away. It can be found in Christ. This is the message of Madaline Garcia’s latest release, “Warrior,” featuring Christian rapper Tyrone Crawford.
Madaline explains, “This is a song about empowerment and perseverance. When life gets hard, and we come up against different trials and obstacles, through Christ, we can find the strength that we need to fight those battles. Whether you’re going through grief, anxiety, depression, facing struggles within your family, or just hitting a stressful time in your life, you can get through it. We are all warriors in Christ.”
“Warrior featuring Tyrone Crawford” is a follow up to Garcia’s last single, “Big Enough to Break.” These songs inspire others to find strength and courage in Christ, even in the darkest and hardest of times. The last year has been an incredible season for Madaline as she has written a number of songs with several notable CCM-Pop, Worship, and Country writers which has lead up to her aggressive single release strategy that has her at number seven in just nine months. October 2019 will bring the release of her CD project and November, a second Christmas EP. Four of her songs have acquired radio airplay in the United States and in nine other countries. They are also streamed in 63 countries. “Warrior, ft/Tyrone Crawford is now available for radio, streaming, and purchase across all major digital outlets via WieRok Entertainment.

ABOUT MADALINE GARCIA
Madaline Garcia has been delighting audiences since her first solo in the first grade. How could such a huge voice come out of such a little girl?! That sentiment rings true today. Known for her impressive vocal range and passion for all types of music, Madaline, known by her friends and family as “Maddie”, is an old soul right out of the jazz era. The Colorado Springs Native, now Nashville resident, has grown up singing in church and school choirs, chorales and ensembles throughout her youth and college career which has taken her across the globe. She sprouted in her solo career after high school as she and her guitar playing cohort, Brandon Hannigan, toured coffee shops, festivals, and events for ten years. After graduating from Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Vocal Performance, she and her educator-parents relocated to Nashville, TN where Madaline has immersed herself in the CCM community.
Life has not always been easy for Garcia. As a child, she struggled with severe vision issues, causing her immense difficulty with reading. Being a “warrior” herself, Maddie persevered, and though reading music was a challenge, she found that her sense of hearing could help her. It’s this childhood struggle that Madaline gives credit to nurture her incredible talent for music. In 2017, Madaline had what she prays to be her last eye surgery. Through the grace of God, talented hands of the doctors and new technology, she’s now at nearly 20/20 vision. With her life’s struggle, she has also gained a heart and passion for those with special needs. Madaline talks about one of her inspirations to her latest song, “Warrior.” “For me, a personal connection that I have with this song is the heart that God gave me for the community of those with special needs. I’ve spent a lot of time with this community and have been so inspired by their resilience, faith, unconditional love, their determination, and their ability to not only take on challenges that most people don’t have to face, but to meet those challenges with joy. They truly are warriors and I hope this song can be an anthem for this incredible group of people.”
