For the past several weeks, music industry veterans Switchfoot have been teasing fans with video clips and pictures.  Many fans were heartbroken when the band announced a hiatus almost a year ago, fearing it could be years before seeing their favorite band once again.  But last month the band confirmed, again after some teasing, that hiatus was over (video below).  According to lead singer Jon Foreman, even though they stopped chasing the music, the music continued to chase them, the ideas unrelenting, like the waves of the ocean.  And these ideas have culminated in a new album. Native Tongue’s release date is January 18th, 2019.  Until then, Switchfoot has made their new single, title track “Native Tongue,” available to stream and purchase.  More information can be found on their website.
