Sing Through The Bible release their first ever cover song and video, a cover of Hillsong United’s So Will I (100 Billion X). Watch above and read the story behind it below (or here on Facebook).

Hi everyone! A couple of months ago, I had a bit of a breakdown. We were trying so hard to find someone to replace the first couple we had planned to record as our guest artists in February. And I felt like I was having to beg people to do it. On top of that, YouTube made big changes to its partner program, and we found out we would no longer be in it because we don’t have enough “watch time.” Meaning none of our videos will be monetized anymore. And I just got tired…so tired of it all. I was asking God, “Why am I doing this? Why is this so hard? Why am I having to BEG people to be in our videos? Who is even watching our videos? Why is it not spreading? Is this even worth it anymore?” I just got so discouraged and frustrated with everything, and I broke down. I felt like what I’ve been doing is useless, worthless. I felt it was unsuccessful, that I was unsuccessful, that it was just another thing in a long list of failures in my life. I was at my wit’s end. I cried out to God in absolute despair. I begged Him to let me know if I should continue or if I’m just wasting my time.

Well, the next day, Brandon Richard Toy and I went to church at Eastside Christian Church. And this amazing song was sung by the worship team!

I don’t know if you’ve heard this song before. It was new to me. And God used it to speak to me in a HUGE way. I stood there in church openly weeping, tears streaming down my face, clutching Brandon’s hand. Suddenly I remembered WHY I am doing this. The truth is there is NOTHING more important I can do with my life than to worship God. Nothing. All of creation was created TO worship God! There is NOTHING more important any of us can do! It is THAT IMPORTANT! Sing Through the Bible shouldn’t be about me stressing over having a new guest artist every month. If we get one, GREAT! But if not…if I just take that month to sing to Him myself…that is enough. The stars were created to worship Him, the mountains were created to worship Him, the oceans were created to worship Him, all the creatures of the earth were created to worship Him. WE WERE CREATED TO WORSHIP HIM!!!! So I’m vowing to remember that. For that to be enough. As long as I am truly using this ministry to worship God, body and soul, heart, mind, and spirit, then I am doing enough. It doesn’t matter how many subscribers we get, how much money we get, how many guest artists sing our songs, how many people find our music, how many views we get. None of that matters. All that matters is that I use this platform to WORSHIP THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE. So that is what I will continue to do.

Since this song moved me so deeply, I decided I wanted us to do our own cover of it! I hope these powerful lyrics move you to praise and worship as they did me. It was what you were BORN to do! We all were. How great is our God?!?!?!
