Mississippi native, P. Lo Jetson gears up to release new holiday jingle The True Meaning Christmas with assistance from Georgia songstress Pharis Elliot.

“Around the holidays, there is an overwhelming pressure to make this season the most wonderful time of the year. And we often attempt to make that statement a reality with enormous amounts of decorations and joyful hymns themed around the holiday season”, says Jetson.

“Christmas is often viewed in two-fold. There’s this joyful and spirited side of the holidays that we all love and appreciate. It’s the side that most reflects the true heart of Christmas: Love, Joy, and Peace unto all. However, there another side of the holiday season that I honestly believe we’ve created that produces sorrow and pain for most as they tend to struggle with the frivolous burden of holiday spending, overextending themselves, and the list goes on and on.

My heart with this new holiday single The True Meaning of Christmas is to bring awareness to the struggles that I think we all face around this time of year but to also shine a light on the solution and what we can do as a people to make sure this is our best Christmas season yet!”, Jetson adds.

The True Meaning of Christmas releases December 1st on all digital retailers.
