We Are Messengers Release I’ll Think About You Music Video with Scenes from “The Shack”; Share Song Story

We Are Messengers is an Irish worship band from Monaghan, Ireland, formed in 2015 by vocalist Darren Mulligan. Their first studio album, We Are Messengers, released in 2016 with Word Records and Curb Records. Their most recent song I’ll Think About You was written exclusively for, and is featured in, the film “The Shack.” “THE SHACK: MUSIC FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE” premiered at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart upon its release Friday, February 24.

“It’s been deeply special to see people connecting with “I’ll Think About You.” Anastasia Brown, the person responsible for the music in the film, shared on We Are Messengers’ website, “When I heard We Are Messengers for the first time, I immediately thought of them for the most emotional scene in The Shack. They never wavered on their commitment to match the song to the nuances of the scene, which ultimately is why “I’ll Think About You” made the pinnacle moment even more heart-rending than it already was.”

We Are Messengers are lucky to be alive after their bus was involved in a collision with a car, the occupant of which died at the scene, and exploded into flames a few days ago.
