The world can be a dark place, but we are called to be the light of the world. When Jesus came, He brought that light with Him, and through the Holy Spirit, we share that same light! The book of Matthew even tells us that we should let our light shine, and in doing so, bring glory to God. Friends, I would encourage you to be the light this week. Do a kind act for someone. Offer a word of encouragement if a friend seems to be having a bad day. Not only will you make their day a little better, but it will lift your spirits as well. Take a few moments to listen to “Salt and Light,” a rather fun song from Salvador, and have a blessed week, friends!
