Jonathan Butler Concludes Christmas Tour

World Famous Guitar Company D’Angelico Guitars and Butler Partnership Inspires Musicians

Grammy® Award-Nominated, Rendezvous Music Recording Artist Jonathan Butler recently wrapped the Dave Koz Christmas Tour where the award-winning artist performed to pack houses for 24 shows in 28 days. “I’ve done this tour with Dave for 10 years now – and I look forward to it each fall. Experiencing the season with fans in so many different cities is a great way to ring in the holidays and Dave is such a kind and generous guy – and a great host,” commented Butler.

Inspired by his love for music and the power it has to change lives, Butler teamed up in the fall with world famous guitar company D’Angelico Guitars to present their custom-made instruments to musicians of all ages committed to excellence in their craft. Across the country while Butler was on tour, eight fans were selected as winners of the beautiful guitars.

“It’s important to keep music education alive at any age,” said Butler. “Music has the power to transcend hardships and generations. It allows the voiceless to create their own song, their own narrative, and it provides a source of solace and inspiration all in one. D’Angelico Guitars are generous in partnering with us to give their incredible instruments to musicians across the country that are committed to music education and preservation.”

Recipients of the guitars included the Gospel Music Association’s GMA Academy, W.O. Smith Music School, Praise Charts, college students, and church musicians. The dream guitars were presented during the holidays including at events hosted by the Gospel Music Association and the W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, Tenn. where Butler was a guest teacher.

“Music Education is extremely close to our hearts,” said Brenden Cohen, CEO of D’Angelico Guitars. “We are honored to be a part of philanthropic opportunities such as these. Schools that uphold the importance of music education and inspire the youth deserve access to the best resources, and we are proud to provide our instruments.”

Hands-on wherever he happens to be in the world, Butler is as passionate and committed to encouraging musicians to be persistent their craft as he is about his own music. In partnership with D’Angelico Guitars, he recognized and honored musicians and students across the country committed to this same ambition and goal.

Butler’s latest album, Free contains 11 rousing tracks, including the fan-favorite and current single “I Am That I Am,” the title-track “Free,” “You Are The One” and more. The album was produced by longtime collaborator and friend Luther “Mano” Hanes who also co-wrote “Where Would I Be” and “Never Find A Better Love.”
