Contemporary Christian/Pop-rock artist Karen Shea released “Fool For You” to iTunes last October, a brand new single that challenges the listener to captivate every thought in order to discern who the world says to be and who God says to be. Last month she released the accompany lyric/music video which can be checked out above.

“I wrote the song with my friend Morgann McClanahan David (Nashville, TN) and Greg “Gregatron” Williams (Dallas, TX). I was inspired by the scripture ‘But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27). There’s something very special about being all in for Christ. I wanted to write a song that was upbeat, fun, and lyrically bold encouraging the listener to be sold out for Christ even when it seems foolish”-Karen Shea

While “Fool For You” is very pop driven, you still get a little rock that you hear on her previous EP, My Heart’s Desire which includes her #1 radio single “Love is Calling” featuring John Katina of ‘The Katinas’. The music video for which can be seen below.

Karen is working on her full length album.

I've been an enormous Christian music fan since a concert by The World Wide Message Tribe in 2001. I'm passionate about spending my life changing the Christian music stereotype/saving the lives of our youth with it. I love puns, sports, wrestling & logic puzzles. I also have an English accent...because I'm English. My favo(u)rite 10 bands are: TFK, KJ-52, Disciple, Stellar Kart, Manafest, Skillet, Kutless, Family Force 5, Seventh Day Slumber and Ashes Remain.
