Inspirational speaker and No. 1 Amazon.com bestselling author Sue Detweiler is pleased to announce the expansion of her nationally syndicated Healing Rain radio feature. The 60-second inspirational feature, which is already heard on radio stations across the United States, goes international through the global platform, TWR360.org.
“I’m thrilled to make Healing Rain available to listeners from around the world,” Detweiler exclaims. “TWR360 breaks down barriers of language and accessibility so users can download, stream and read an abundance of Christian media resources, to help them grow in their daily walk with Christ.”
Next week, Detweiler is scheduled to attend the National Religious Broadcasters’ Proclaim 16 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, where she will meet with members of the national and international media to discuss her Healing Rain radio feature, along with her bestselling books, 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Mom and 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage.
After serving in ministry for 28 years in the Nashville, Tennessee area, the Detweiler family recently made the huge decision to relocate their family to the north Texas community of Frisco, located just north of Dallas, where they felt called to plant a church. The first public service of this new fellowship is scheduled for Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016.
“Healing Rain was already playing in the region on KCBI prior to us relocating to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex,” Detweiler says. “I meet people every week who will hear my name and reach out to hug me, because they have already been listening to my voice. They will repeat words that I shared on the radio that impacted them the most.”
“At one point I had considered laying down the radio ministry to concentrate only on planting the church and writing books,” Detweiler continues. “But the Lord confirmed through the response of the daily listeners and the consistent adding of more radio stations that His favor was on this ministry outreach. I realized that all of it was a part God’s plan, not only to spread His good news at a local life-giving congregation, but also through the national and global impact of the books that I have written and the radio outreach. It’s His message; I am one of His messengers.”
With more than 27,000 followers on Facebook and Twitter, Detweiler realized that people from around the globe were connecting God’s life-giving message through social media. “I have always had a missionary heart,” she says, “so it seemed like a natural progression to expand our radio ministry to a global platform as well.”
